Jean-Pierre Schaller has taught for more than fifteen years in various jazz schools in Switzerland. At the moment, he teaches in Lausanne in the Jazz department at the Haute Ecole de Musique.

In the context of the Haute Ecole de Musique, he teaches electric bass and rhythm courses (music theory and applied rhythm) at the Bachelor and Masters levels, and leads workshops with themes based on composers of specific musical trends.
